Paul Ennis - Managing Director
Paul started his life in construction by serving his time as a Carpenter and Joiner sitting his Advanced City & Guilds and then becoming a Master Carpenter. He very quickly moved into management and gained his Higher National Certificate in construction management. He then continued his studies and obtained an Honours Degree in Building Surveying.
Paul has been made a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, he has also been made a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers. Along with the above acknowledgment Paul is also a Chartered Builder and in on the board of the Federation of Master Builders.
Paul works within all areas of the company, being it his expert Surveying pathology skills, Project Management skills or working for the court as an Expert Witness.
Mark Evered - Director Of Architecture
Mark has a BA(Hons) Architecture, after working for National Architectural practice specialising in Specialist Disability design & access for residential care and retail and Unique Private Residential Dwellings Mark attained his MArch Architecture.
Mark has worked for the company over ten years and has overall responsibility for the design studio within the practice with his team of architects and architectural technicians.
Mark will oversee your Concept Design, 3D Visualisations & Modelling. Preparation of Plans & Elevations for Planning Application submission, then move forward with your Detailed Design & Building Regulations submissions.
Mark also oversees our Commercial and domestic Contract Administration instructions.
William Ennis - Director of Surveying/ Building Surveyor
William is the 3rd generation within the company and has been working within the company with his dad and grandad since he was 16. After William finished school he attained with distinction his AGNVQ Construction Technology. He then went on to attain his BSc(Hons) in Building Surveying.
Since completing his degree William has worked for the company over eight years and is involved with the general ongoing surveying instructions. William also used his site management and surveying skills working closely with the Construction Company.
Leon Wilkinson - Structural & Civil Engineer
Leon has been with the company for over twenty years and has been a structural engineer all his working life both for local government and in private practice and is competent in all aspects of structural engineering. He mentors the junior members of staff within the office and is highly respected across the northwest for his engineering problem solving and pathology skills.
Chris Pittaway - Senior Architect
Chris attended the Welsh School of Architecture obtaining a BSc in Architectural studies (1st class honours), B Arch, followed by the RIBA Part III Qualification exam and ARB Registration.
Chris has worked for the company over five years and is our expert in Conservation works and work on listed buildings. Within the company he is a lead consultant/project architect on a lot of our schemes, he is involved in all stages of the projects, from inception and feasibility studies, through design and production/specification, tender and contract negotiations to supervision on site.
Chris also is involved in Contract administration covering various forms of JCT and measured term contracts, and co-ordination of the design to achieve BREAM or similar assessments.
Michael Dooley - Small Works & Customer Services Manager
Mick has worked for the group for over fifteen years, formally one of our project managers; he now manages the small works and customer services team. His problem solving capacity he has successfully managed various sized projects to a successful conclusion.
Tony Hogarth - Senior Project Manager
Tony served his time as a carpenter & joiner and worked for a number of large companies, with his vast experience he became a Project Manager. Tony has worked for our company over fifteen years, with his natural management skills and attention to detail he always builds a very good rapport with our clients and produces work that beats expectations. Tony has overall responsibility for the on-site management of all construction projects.
Marty Gibbs - Project Manager
Marty has worked in the construction industry his whole life and for Paul Ennis over twenty years managing projects between £20,000 & £250,000 and his no nonsense approach, logical thinking, and construction programming means your development will run smoothly and safely.
Ian Morris - Project Manager
Ian is a qualified Advanced City & Guilds bricklayer and has worked in the construction industry his whole life, he has been with Paul Ennis for over 11 years, he heads up our contracts that require major structural alterations with his forward thinking and problem solving capacity he works closely with our structural engineering team.
Michael Dowd - Project Manager
Michael served his time with the senior joiners within the company. He has been with us for over ten years and has achieved his advanced GNVQ in Carpentry and Joinery. His attention to detail and finishing skills are what our clients expect. He has been an assistant PM on our larger domestic Building Projects and he now runs a number of our smaller domestic schemes.
